Welcome to my cartoon life...

I am a happily married father of 3 that has been a stay at home dad (s@hd) for the last 5 years.  I used to be a salesman, but now I actually work for a living.  The only difference being that my hours are much longer now and the "pay" is much more subjective.

This blog will let you know what's new and or recycled in my world and my warped perspectives on whatever I happen to be thinking of at the moment.  It won't always be about being a s@hd, primarily because just because that is my life now, doesn't mean it's the only thing in my life.  I'll share stories of when I was young and the stupid things we used to do in the name of fun back in those dark, pre-electronic everything times.  And who knows, you might even learn something along the way...about me, or even yourself.  Either way, I hope you'll be entertained, if nothing else.

As far as parenting goes, feel free to offer advice, comments, questions or whatever you deem appropriate.  I often tell my kids that I know a little bit about a lot of things, but I know a lot less about being a parent.  I'm mainly trying to make sure my kids get to enjoy their childhood while they're still in it, instead of spending their time trying to re-live it later when they have enough money to truly enjoy it like their dad.

I might even wax poetic about things in the news like politics or religion, or why the two should never mix.  Or why stupidity and marketing win more popular votes than intelligence and common sense.  And if you think intelligence and common sense are the same, you're probably a little lacking in both.

But hey, that's just my opinion.  We'll get to intellectual snobbery later.

Peace & Powder
(Oh, and by "powder" I mean snow.  You see I live in Colorado and love to ski.  The other salutation should be self-explanatory.)
